Aluminum Jib Crane

The aluminum jib crane is a workstation crane with a boom made from an anodised aluminum rail profile. The hoist trolley runs inside the profile, and a tie rod above the boom carries the load back to the pillar or wall bracket. It is designed for loads from 80 kg to 500 kg and arm lengths from 2 m to 5 m.

Because the boom is much lighter than a steel I-beam arm, the operator can swing the jib and move the load along it by hand with very little force. This makes it a good choice for frequent, short lifts at a single workplace, where a heavier jib would slow the operator down.

Two versions are available. The pillar-mounted jib stands on its own column, slews through 270 degrees and is fixed to the workshop floor with anchor bolts; the main switch is built into the column. The wall-mounted jib is bolted to a building column or steel support, slews through 180 degrees and needs no floor space at all.

The crane is supplied with cable trolleys and cable along the boom and can be fitted with an electric chain hoist, an intelligent servo hoist or a balancer with a vacuum lifter or gripper. Column height and arm length are made to the dimensions of your workplace.
