Scrap Yard Gantry Crane

Scrap yard gantry cranes are equipped with a hydraulic grab or lifting magnets to loading the scraps into scrap bucket transferring trolley. Then low-voltage transfer trolley will shift the scraps bucket into the melting shop. Finally the melting shop crane is required to pick up a scrap bucket collected with the double laminated hook and charge the scrap into the Electric Arc Furnace directly.

Sometimes clients will use 1 set of scrap yard gantry cranes with two units of 32ton trolleys to tilt the imported container.   The weight of the imported container with steel scraps is very near to 30tons, so we select 32ton trolley to tilt the scrap containers.

The gantry crane shall be heavy-duty design and cabin operated through master controllers. The working duty of this crane is Min. A5. Generally, the crane is designed to be M6 or M7 duty group.
