How To Supply Power To Gantry Crane?

Gantry cranes are used for lifting and moving heavy loads in various industries. To ensure smooth and efficient operation, a reliable power supply is essential. There are several methods to supply power to a gantry crane, depending on the type and scale of the application.

There are three main power supply methods for gantry cranes.

1. Overhead slide line for gantry crane’s power supply.

2. Ground conductor line for gantry crane’s power supply.

3. Ground cable reel for gantry crane’s power supply.

1. Overhead slide line for gantry crane’s power supply.

1.1 Application for >400A, or foot path and truck crossing.

1.2 Pole material: Concrete or steel.

1.3 Slide line material: steel-aluminum/copper alloy.

1.4 Power supply mode: one end (L>100m)or both ends(L>100m).

1.5 Customer scope: Foundation for pole and anchor rope, main switch panel and down shop cable.

2. Ground conductor line for gantry crane’s power supply.

2.1 Application for >400A, not foot path and truck crossing.

2.2 The height of the column about 750mm.

2.3 Mounting method: Chemical bolts to ground and column, ground height difference<10mm.

2.4 Power supply mode: one end(L>100m), mid point(100m<L<200m),multi-points(each 100m).

2.5 Customer scope: main switch panel and down shop cable.

3. Ground cable reel for gantry crane’s power supply.

3.1 Application for <150m, foot path but no truck crossing.

3.2 Power supply mode:mid point.

3.3 Customer scope: cable channel, grille, main switch panel and down shop cable.
